Our Property Requirements
At Country Escapes we’re always looking out for premium properties in exclusive rural or semi rural locations across the New Forest, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire to add to our collection. We don’t mind whether it’s traditional or modern, big or small, or even if it’s a complete one of a kind property, every property we manage has one thing in common – high quality.
Whether you’re looking for someone to oversee letting your new luxury-farmhouse-shaped investment or you’ve been managing your rural second home for years and need a rest, be assured that when you hand us your keys, your treasured country property will be extremely well looked after.
Our Property Facilities
We do request that every country property we manage must be self-contained and include all the facilities required for a relaxing stay. For example, if the property doesn’t have a washing machine so a trip to the launderette would be required to do laundry, it wouldn’t fit into our collection. The Country Escapes properties are all self-catering so the kitchen should ideally be well-stocked with all equipment a guest would need to make cooking (and clearing up) as easy as possible, such as a microwave, dishwasher and perhaps even a user-friendly roll of cling film! Since our collection is focussed on luxury other mod cons are encouraged but not essential. Country Escapes covers two of the most beautiful regions in the UK:
The Cotswolds which sprawls across five delightful counties: Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire although we currently we specialize in Somerset and Wiltshire we are expanding our reach.
The New Forest which is located in Hampshire, south of Salisbury and edges into Dorset.
The County of Dorset, nestled between Devon and Hampshire.
We usually select properties for our collection which are situated in rural locations or picturesque villages within these areas but we’ll always consider other properties if they have a very desirable locations.
