The rural property in which you’ll be staying will be so cosy and inviting (particularly if you’re staying in one of our holiday cottages in Dorset with a hot tub!), you may be content to potter around there for the duration of your stay. And that’s absolutely fine. But if you do want to get out and explore, we can also arrange that for you. Good times await.

Holidays and breaks away are all about having great experiences and making memories – together. We want you to have so many great experiences and make so many memories on your Country Escapes trip that you’ll never want to leave. To make this happen we’ve teamed up with a tried and tested network of companies across the local area to offer you and all your loved ones amazing experiences that will leave you relaxed/exhilarated entertained/sated (delete as appropriate).
Below, we provided you with some of our suggestions of how you might like to spend your time but these are just ideas. If you can think of something else you’d prefer to do, please just let us know and we’ll do our absolute best to make it happen.
The Outdoors Kit
Whatever you need to take full advantage of the wonders of the countryside we’re ready to help get you the equipment you need. Whether it’s mountain bikes to take you adventuring, boat hire to enjoy the tranquillity of the water ways or just advice as to the best local place to get your country footwear – we’ve got you covered.
We can even arrange a bell tent in your garden, set up to provide the kids with their own themed pop-up den or alternatively arranged for your own glamping-in-the-garden-sleepover. What could be more exciting than a night under the stars on a summer night with the comfort of knowing your sumptuous bed is just a few yards away?
Rural Dining Delights
Whether you decide to go for simple-yet-delicious, full-on fancy or somewhere in-between, the New Forest, Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire offer a seemingly endless range of dining options. Whether you’d like a picnic in a forest clearing, a chef to cook at your property, a refined afternoon tea, a buffet spread, a Michelin-starred restaurant, posh pub grub delivered to your door, a barbecue or an alfresco six-course dinner served under fairy-lit trees, we will aim to organise everything we can to satisfy your appetite. All we ask is you give us as much notice as you can and let us know of any dietary requirements. Bon appétit.
Bespoke Country Events
Whatever your special occasion, whatever you want (within reason), just let us know and Country Escapes can organise it for you. We can do as much or as little as you’d prefer. We can just get the cake or we can arrange a start-to-finish party, complete with food, drink, (more cake), decorations, music and of course, entertainment – everything from magicians to bubbleologists (we promise that’s really a thing), a murder-mystery caper to a casino set-up.
